On one of my day's off last week, I babysat Lily. I had bought apples to make Don a pie and thought it would be fun for Lily to help. It was fun, but someone seemed to like the flour a little too well :) and wanted to keep on adding more- when none was needed. The pie in looks was the worst one I've made, but I was informed that it tasted great! I have found there is never a dull moment with Lily! She is a doll!

Heaven on Earth
A couple of weeks ago, we went to Don's family reunion in Manti, Ut area. I was able to see lots of his side of the family, which was nice. Chad drove down from Montana with his dog Miss Daisy. It was like heaven on earth for us to have all of our kids together.

Mother's Day
For Mother's day, the girls made me dinner and Dustin and Nicky came over. It was a very traditional Dilworth holiday, but great nonetheless. The kids got me a gift card to get a massage, gift card to Chili's and some bath stuff from Bath and Body Works. I love all of it. Here are some pictures.

Baking with Grandma
While watching Lily the other night, I pulled out the cookbook, aprons and ingredients. We were well on our way to making delicious peanut butter blossom m&m (Lily's favorite) cookies. It was a delight to cook with the little darling. She was being sneaky and kept on adding flour, while I was trying to roll up the cookies and put them on cookie sheets. It was cute at first, but the cookies didn't need any more flour. The little ones in our life seem to bring so much joy...even in the simple things, like making cookies. (Lily kept calling them cupcakes). Here are some pictures from our little grand cooking adventure. Lily is sporting the apron her grandpa Don made in home ec when he was in 8th grade.
